Eligibility and Age Limits

Educational Requirements:

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The entire selection process is conducted through a multi-stage process managed by the NTA. It features a Computer-Based Test (CBT) layout with no negative marking.
- Stage 1 (Preliminary Objective Test): A multiple-choice examination focusing on General Studies and General Hindi. The test carries a total of 200 marks with a duration of 3 hours.
- Stage 2 (Mains Examination): A subjective test designed to assess the core conceptual depth of qualified applicants.
- Stage 3 (Computer Knowledge & Typing Test): A 20-minute practical evaluation carrying 50 marks. Candidates must successfully replicate a provided English passage on screen. A minimum score of 25 marks is mandatory to pass this qualifying round.
